Please use the rubbish bins provided or take your litter home. Thank you.

Please keep your dog(s) on a lead at all times except when racing.

There are water points available.

Dogs – Fun Classes


We look forward to welcoming you and your dog(s)

and ask the following:


1. You do not bring a bitch in season or a dog with any sign of illness

2. You pay £1 entry fee per dog per class

3. You pick up after your dog

4. You keep your dog on a lead except when racing

5. Your dog will be at owner’s risk


1.45 pm Register your dog(s) at the Dog Arena

for any of the fun classes below.

2.00pm – 3.25 pm In the Dog Arena

  • Veteran Class (Dog or Bitch of 7 plus)
  • Prettiest Bitch
  • Handsomest Dog
  • Best Puppy (18 months and younger)
  • The Waggiest Tail
  • Best Young Handler (young person of 10 years and under)

In the event of a class being over-subscribed we may have to run heats

followed, if necessary, by a ‘play-off’.


3.30 pm – 3.50 pm In the Main Arena

Parade of all Dogs, judging & prize giving for Supreme Champion

3.50 pm – 4.10 pm. Dog Races in the Main Arena for 3 classes:

Small, medium and large dogs.

Judging & Prizes

Judges will be from across our five communities.

Rosettes will be awarded:

  • Four In each fun class (1-4)
  • One for the Supreme Champion
  • Two for each race (1-2)
